You should keep track of how ‘bad’ you connection is and repeatedly complain to your ISP. Backup up your complaints with documentation. After a few months, start CCing your complaints to the state attorney general’s office. See then how much better their response becomes.

Problem is, almost all tax incentive mandate that the system be grid tied, meaning you can’t use a battery to store excess power. Until that changes, getting the Tesla system will just make solar that much more expensive.
If you can, do it yourself. I did mine and saved a bundle.
