Just curious, have you ever used a Northgate keyboard? It's the old clicky style from the days when they made keyboards out of metal and actual switches. I have one of those and it blows away any keyboard made today. I don't use it regularly though because it is not ergonomic.

Regular cleaning? Every once in a while I pull all the key caps and soak them in hot water and Oxiclean. While they are soaking, I clean out any crap that was under them but there is hardly any since I don't eat over my keyboard like most people.
