Vote: Launcher Pro.

Also let me know when they post the Boy Scout Manual as the same kind of app. I've said this many times, if I get lost in the wilderness, I hope to have that book with me.

In my younger days we did something similar but much more 'country'. I would find a good sized watermelon in the garden and cut a hole the size of the neck of a bottle in it. I would then tip a vodka bottle in the whole and leave it there until it emptied. Repeat if necessary.

I was very excited about this app so I tried this last night. Boy was I disappointed. My review on Play:

Freakin sweet (when it goes into full rollout)! I can't tell you how many times I've tried apps (luckily only the free ones) to find out they were crap after spending more than 15 minutes trying to configure them or trying to get them to even work. Please take note Google!

Nothing beats real maple syrup. NOTHING.

Or, if you are still really wigged out about using an old deodorant applicator, you can just get one of these:

I wish I could have switched our company over to Firefox or Chrome years ago but, unfortunately, one of our core applications uses .NET which renders that option impossible. I can't wait for the day of a true browser independent world.

My company, so paranoid about being heavily fined by the state, will write anyone up for not taking these breaks. So, the intent of the

Two words: Not true. It takes more than just a salary to make one happy and Lifehacker has outlined that in the past. Such a one dimensional view of a three dimensional world.

Not available for Google Apps users yet either. *Sigh*

Legal or not, common sense should tell your it's a dumb idea to wear headphones while you are driving.

Electric? I've been using mine without issue for 8 years now.

Vote: Logitech Harmony series. Different strokes for different folks but at it's core, it works well and is very easy to use.

The cheapest way I have seen to lower the temp in your house in the summer is installing the mentioned soffit vents if they are not already installed. If not present, have them installed along with a vented ridge cap. I have seen this combination lower temp of a house by 15°F only a few hours after installation

Agree with 3a. Swamp coolers are the bomb but they can only be used in low humidity environments. I had one in Colorado and LOVED it.
