@joe.glass: Keep the monitor off the desk altogether. Get a wall mount kit for it (if your desk is against the wall. Even with a flat panel, the frees up a suprising amount of desktop space.

@Natael: Any CB will do you well. Check out yard/garage sales to see if you can score one on the dirt cheap.

@comodidit: I second the Eurail route. I would fly to Frankfurt though. It's pretty central to Europe so if something comes up and you need to fly out quickly, no matter where you are, it will be pretty much a straight shot back to Frankfurt to fly home. Don't limit yourself on the destination in Europe either. I

I love the functionality in most browsers to press CTRL-Enter to autofill the ht tp://www and the .com at then end. I've tried to find if there is an equivalent for ht tps://www and the .com but haven't found one. Does anyone know of one how how to script it using AutoHotKey?

@glaeven: Find a carrier other than Sprint. Honestly, everyone I know on Sprint HATES IT! Their coverage sucks, their services is horrible and their rate of dropped calls is astounding. The only thing they have going for them is the all in one package but I don't think it's worth the trade-off.

Be careful with tip #9. When you set that up, every time you hit the home button, it will open up new tabs with the pages you have specified whether they are already open or not.
