@31337h4ck3r: I have several. Bit the bullet, cut them off with nail clippers and stop the minimal bleeding. You could freeze them off like warts or pay your doctor to do it. Pain level is about the same with all methods. Not bad though.

@Wes Bunton: Not one I've done personally but read an article of a kid who built a system to boot every single OS know to man. I believe the were over 100.

@cameron: So I barbecue hamburgers on my grill?

@Wes Bunton: Any smart phone, regardless of the carrier, will be expensive. At least $80. You can go with Sprint to go even lower but I wouldn't recommend it. Their coverage is the worst.

Same question as last week: Thoughts from those who bought the Droid X?

@brodiemac: I did some more research. Electricity production in the U.S. releases over 5.6 million tons of NOx, 11.5 million tons of SO2 and 2.6 billion tons of CO2 into the air. Superconducting transmission wires would reduce that by 1.4 million tons, 2.875 million tons, & 6.5 billion tons respectively. That's

@digitmint: Seems they have gotten a fair rating on DSLreport.com

@npkeith: Think about that. A home made cryostat for a few hundred bucks. Now think about cooling every single power line in the United States to absolute zero and keeping it there. Still think it's cheap?

@Bilsko: Typically, for any of the online testers out there, I run three tests and take the average of the three. I suspect, you may have gotten the same results if you ran the test twice for the DC connector.

This could be huge! Right now in the United States, 25% of all electricity produced is used just to push the other 75% across the wires.

@Mihos: Shortly thereafter, Skynet begins the war against man.

@npkeith: Liquid Nitrogen is an exotic coolant and a very expensive one.

@digitmint: Have him return it and buy a used Linksys WRT54G off of eBay. Make sure it's a v1 - v4 so you can mod it with Tomato. Once you do that, tell him you got him a $600 for cheap: [lifehacker.com]

@UmitMacGuyver: Qwest is the worst. I had them when I lived in Colorado and dumped them the first chance I had. In my second house they said I couldn't get DSL. I called Covad and they installed it the next week. Finally went to cable modem and never looked back.

@UmitMacGuyver: I agree with Vansaina. If you must install a firewall, try ZoneAlarm. Really robust and powerful.

@MagicMT: Yeah, I successfully turned off my computer, went out and socialized, met my wife, got married and had two kids (at once).
