I agree, but it doesn't bother me as much for some reason. I remember being unreasonably angry about how close Minas Tirith and Osgilliath looked in the RoTK movie. I guess my nerd rage has mellowed over the years.

Agreed. Littlefinger has a teleporter, as does Melisandre (given her one magical trip to meet the Brotherhood without Banners in Season 3) . Everything else can be explained.

He was.

What do you think that the Moutain has been eating? He was revived with ALF blood and therefore has an insatiable hunger for cats.

It's a little known fact that Rommel skinned Montgomery's brother alive outside of el Alamein.

That should be on the book jacket of "The Winds of Winter", in the one in a million chance it gets released.

Definitely. But only after a snarky comment from the old son of a bitch, as well as a barely-legal nipple tweak. RIP Walder, the greatest of the Freys.

Sam is large and ponderous, plus he went all the way back to him home in the middle of the Reach

Better than "Robb Stark- the one who lost the war because he couldn't keep it in his pants"

Qyburn's the evil, disgraced, ethics-free mad scientist, disguised as a kindly old grandfather type. He's one of my favorite characters in the books and in the show.

He was actually one of my favorite characters. Very entertaining. His last words should have been "It tasted good to me" with a middle finger in the air.

Even by your conception, Skrein hits the Daario mark far closer than new Daario (whatever his name is). New Daario was WAY too bland. And weird, conniving, violent Chippendale dancer is a good description of book Daario IMO…

I think it's just to establish that Oldtown exists. Oldtown likely plays an important part in the endgame.

Exactly. And there are a few of those types who stalk the AV Club.

He didn't have to get back to Mereen. He just had to meet her in the water before she made it to King's Landing. They could be 50 miles off the coast of King's Landing for all we know.

Even his armor looked like a flannel shirt tied around his waist. He looked like a Spin Doctor, or Casey Jones from the original TMNT movies.

Have you read the books? That describes book Daario perfectly. Book Daario is possibly the douchiest character I've ever read in any book. Ed Skrein captured that douchieness. New Daario simply didn't and became generic sell sword #473. He was worthless.

He was with the Martell fleet. There are Martell ships with Dany.

Maybe "Bad Pussy" could have been riding topless.

I don't think that acting chops was at the top of the list for Daario- just douchebaggery. New Daario was too generic to pull even that off right, unfortunately. This episode wasted too much time on that non-entity.
