10* nominees has been a thing since 2010, after The Dark Knight was snubbed.

I’d argue they’re only huge snubs if some other nominee didn’t deserve it. That’s one hell of a contest for best director and they have all earned a nomination. Alexander Payne also seems like a snub, but I can’t argue with any of the current choices.

I think the originating country has to choose it, and whoever decides these things in Germany went with the other one. (Possibly as a tactical decision, hoping Anatomy Of A Fall would get that Best Picture nomination.)

I was initially excited for this. Then I saw it was releasing in January.

Pretty decent finale but I was annoyed watching it on live traditional TV with the way they broke it up. 2 mins of content, ad, 3 mins of content, ad, and so on. They really stretched out the run time here.

This was probably my favorite season since 2. Going to miss this show for the 10 years it’ll take for the next season. I’m pretty upset for Hawley for not giving Trooper Witt much to do, then killing him off pretty unceremoniously.

Exactly. Black is a big goofy guy that sings about genitals so people kind of assume he actually can’t sing but the guy actually has a very good singing voice. Weird Al get knocked similarly. They both are accomplished musicians whos medium just happens to be comedy.

I haven’t seen a single person blame Ramsey for it. Which is pretty nice.

I’m cool with the supernatural angle. Another rote cop thriller doesn’t appeal. Get weird. 

Applegate has had a really tough road in recent years between the MS diagnosis and the double mastectomy and oophorectomy.

I appreciate your comment and I do think the show could benefit from more supporting characters of substance, but given how prevalent paper thin female supporting characters have been on TV for the past 80-years, I think the show can succeed just fine even if the only real heroes are female. 

Nonsense. She could have easily grabbed the rifle back before going into the hole. It was done for drama....she’s defenseless.
