Good.  It’s high time we start pricing apps appropriately.  More games like this please and less Free2Play Gacha trash and 99 cent ad-supported crap.  Phones and tablets can cost as much as $1500-2k.  Let’s stop treating them like 2nd tier machines and get AAA games rolling with games that are priced appropriately so

Yea I tried watching GMW when it came out...just wasn’t made for adults who grew up on BMW lol. Which is totally fine. Someday maybe I’ll try to at least watch the episodes Shawn showed up in.

I was part of the demographic when it aired- and I was a big fan. While It does have its flaws, it is a great show, and I’m glad people are rediscovering it.

Has anyone actually seen what Tom Holland looks like? Because he doesn’t look like him at all.

I am struggling with this game. It is not a bad game by any measure. But it is not holding my attention nearly as much as Skyrim or Fallout 3/4. Even with my beast of a PC, the constant loading screens are just obnoxious and annoying. Who knows. Maybe I am just getting old.

We are living in the worst cyberpunk future.  All the connectivity and corporate greed but none of the robot arms

That’s a fair critique of the cyberpunk aesthetic in the game.

That’s my take on this. This isn’t “spoiled gamers send death threats because anime girl now wears clothes.” This is “oblivious CEOs threaten the livelihoods of thousands of people.”

I mean, ffs, how do you expect people to react when you threaten to put them on the street in this economy? That’s literally how violent

So despite you being factually incorrect about the legality of what this person is doing, I really suggest thinking through what you’re actually saying.

All that’s relevant is that this person spent their time and effort to create a new thing that did not exist before they created it and then decided that they wanted to sell it instead of give it away. The reaction from reasonable people, in this circumstance, would most likely be, “huh, ok, well if I want to pay for

The rationale you’re promoting here would place “video game mods” into a completely different category than any other creative endeavor.

It’s sure as shit worth at least what I’m paying for Game Pass.

To say nothing of these horrible CRT "filters" in collections of old games. I get by with custom soft scanline filters, but most CRT filters look terrible.

I wish more pixel art games would recreate what they ACTUALLY looked like on a TV. All these crisp jagged lines look like crap to me. The blending you get from a CRT is something else entirely, and the developers accounted for that.

Why is Sonic Team so fucking reluctant to even consider the idea of just creating high-quality 2D sprites?

This really doesn’t surprise me. I’m not saying nobody young can enjoy pixel aesthetics but I feel like most of the appeal of pixel graphics is nostalgia. There are a handful of modern games that use pixel art that I think are genuinely lovely (like Iconoclasts and Sea of Stars) but I think most pixel games don’t

I’ll echo the recommendation to watch Silo. My wife doesn’t always get pulled into the same shows I watch, but a few episodes in she started asking when the next episode would drop. Hopefully the strike will end soon and the writers, cast, and crew can return to this world.

Any movie that makes fun of Matchbox 20 *and* Zack Snyder fans is an automatic thumbs up

The color palettes in Gwen’s universe reflect her emotions.

The net is fantasy!
