It bums me to no end that Simon has been all but forgotten. Simon’s Quest is one of my all-time favourite games.

I’ve seen the original so many times now, it’s hard to ignore all the little things like Leo and Raph going way out of their way to ensure that they never use their weapons as weapons. But it is a really great film, and deserves as much respect as the first Tim Burton Batman or The Crow get from that era.

TMNT is a perfect example of a beloved franchise that has the potential to be great, but rarely is. We’ve had six big budget movies, and only the very first, lowest budget of them all is really any good.

Look, I almost never want a Jared Leto performance in anything, but Morbius is like the one exception where it’s warranted, and he doesn’t give one. Morbius’ main problem as a film is that it underwhelms at every turn. It feels most like its templated off of the Affleck Daredevil movie (which I actually like a fair

Keep in mind, Microsoft is already been found guilty on multiple occasions for being a monopoly in the past.

I’ve done two of the temples so far and have no idea what’s going on with Zelda (although thanks to this article I know she’s an imposter now). Haven’t looked at any guides.

I think the deal with Cap is that in “our” timeline he was always destined to go back in time and end up with Peggy. That’s why he never meets Peggy’s partner and she is awfully coy about who he is.

Counterpoint going to the cinema with a huge crowd of people is awful with people constantly talking throughout the film, using their phones, bringing smelly meals into the screen etc. John Wick 4 was ruined by the people who wouldn’t shut the fuck up sitting behind giving a running commentary on the film

Yeah, but that’s the point. They did their best work together. Lee, Kirby, and Ditko rarely put out anything truly great after their partnerships ended.

Well, Spectacular Spider-Man #226 was my very first comic, so I am all in on Ben being the real Spidey.

I actually assumed that this was Insomniac Miles walking with Insomniac Peter when I saw it, but I guess the suit is a bit different.

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills, since everyone disagrees with me, but as a HUGE Ben Reilly fan, I absolutely loved his portrayal.

It was really awesome and once again visually unmatched, but also it was very long and still only half of a movie. I felt like this about Dune as well.

I think pretty much all the excitement is about Michael Keaton Batman. I had one of those 30 second ad spots served to me on YouTube recently and it was literally entirely Batman focused and ended with Keaton saying “I’m Batman” and then had the Flash logo.

All three Marathon games have been available on Windows and Linux since about 2000, when Bungie open-sourced the engine.

I don’t know how Bungie would bring back Marathon’s original gameplay in a faithful way that wouldn’t be broadly perceived as derivative.

I think if a studio can pull together the 10/10 AAA Star Trek game that fans have been asking for, people aren’t going to avoid it if it’s called Star Trek instead of “Generic Space Game”.

I just want you to know that I agree with basically everything you said here, from the reactions to that TotK ad right down the specifics about Fallout 4. I imagine that it took a long time to type all that out, and I appreciated reading it.

Elden Ring really took everything I loved about Breath of the Wild and cranked it up to 11. I was actually worried that Tears of the Kingdom wouldn’t live up to that. Especially when I saw so much focus on (ugh) crafting in the trailers. But holy crap they managed to make the part of most modern games that I hate the
