Actually Peggy's character in this episode is consistent with what we already know about her. She is fundamentally insecure and always in need of seeking Don's approval, as if his validation of her will give her the self-esteem she cannot seem to find for herself. All of the major characters in this series are alone

Good question. Actually, Don appears to be the one character who has not physically changed throughout the series. Same suit style, same haircut, no porno-chic mustache like Roger and Ted. His physical appearance has always been conservative from day one.

As for creepy characters, Lou and Glen top the list.

Lou has never been a likable character. I thought the cartoon business was to suggest that Lou is looking out for himself once again. He is selfish and self-centered and interviewing at H-B appears to be the only thing available left to him so he can "have something to show for" which he was unable to do with

What, if anything, should we make of the 6 April 1970 Time magazine cover, appearing in Don's office while he is speaking into the dictaphone?
