Her name is Alberta, she lives in Vancouver…
I have an unapologetic love for this film. I'll put it this way: given the choice between watching this and "Just Friends" I will watch this every time.
Holy shit, that was Dennis Haysbert. I didn't realize that until this moment.

The Scapegoat (1959) - Alec Guinness at his most emo. Not my favorite. Although, there has to be something said for the themes of duel identity that run through Guinness' work. Along with Scapegoat, he played multiple identities in Kind Hearts and Coronets, The Captain's Paradise, Our Man in Havana (spy vs.…
I love that she's so capable and really game to explore the world rather than just be with the guy.
I just came from another website where I was defending the honor of Brothers Bloom. One of my favorites and a damned entertaining film. Rachel Weisz deserves all kinds of praise for that film.

As someone who has had to deal with telling the troubling parts of a community's history I especially love any time there's a reference to Pawnee's terrible past. The best one being the map of atrocities against the Wamapoke tribe.
my favorite is when Penny had to go to the hospital and ends the pile on with "I died for two minutes in that ambulance."
