1961-1970: Jensen FF

Renault 5 Turbo.

Naah, not worthy, it's just a rip on a Family Guy episode:

Sir, I promise you won't regret it.

Top fuel dragster:

Yep. His name was "Cool Spot"

First thing I saw:

70-80 HP/liter in the early 1970s was not bad at all, especially in a fiberglass bodied car.

Very good in its later years (both the turbo and n/a versions). The early ones (1973-1974), however, had oil supply issues, leaked oil from the cam onto the exhaust header, and lunched the valves if you forgot to change the timing belt every 18,000 miles or so.

Yes, Yes, Yes.

Looks good on railroad engines as well.

Holy camber change, Batman!

The coupe also came out before the fastback, so if you really wanted a Mustang right then, you either got the coupe or the convertible.

Agree with the bush planes below.

Say chap, jolly good list.

Austin-Healey 4000, also known as the Rolls-Healey.

For a similar vehicle, how about a nice Jensen GT?

If you want 100% British, Jensen still has you covered:

While the E is curvy in all the right places, the best way to describe the XJS is imposing. It's like the British version of a 1970 Dodge Charger: big, powerful, long and low.
