Diehard Pokemon fans who will still buy both versions and dlc, and amiibos, and trading cards at inflated prices - while constantly talking about how much they all hate this.

IDK maybe we can just recycle the last outrage and scream about how it doesn’t run at 69 gigashits per terrafart on a tablet?

Of course, when the Steam Deck comes out and games don’t run at 69 terrashits per megafart, it’s because Lord GabeN doesn’t want us to hurt our eyes looking at such gloriousness

“I really disagree with Sakurai on this. There is nothing I like more than when people put words in my mouth.”

His real name is Bobby McKotick

Dude makes a little joke about an article and he’s a right wing terrorist?  Don’t hurt yourself stretching like that.

Amazon is a garbage company so are your tears

This sounds like something written by a person who hasnt held an actual job before.

Even this excellent game can’t distract from the fact that we should not be having the Olympics right now and against the will of the majority of the population of the host country.

My personal opinion is that quotes should be maintained in their entirety. That’s the whole point of a quote. Making any kind of change is like a game of Telephone, where the end message could end up entirely different than the source material, just by changing one or two words along the way.

That’s the vibe I’m getting as well. From the article,

Would it tho?

I am a Random main as well... but mostly because I’m not great with anyone anyway and just prefer leaning into the chaos with whoever the game picks.

I’ll hold judgement until I can test it, but for now I’ll say.

you should probably stop treating them like a novelty, then.

There is something to be said when the author of an article jumps into the comments and starts arguing

If you want everything to stop being about race then stop making everything about race. You should be recognized by your collection of games, not your race. You’re the one making it a race thing by the blatant attempt to make it the focus.

No offense but this writer for Kotaku seems to only write about race via the medium of games journalism. It’s very transparent and doesn’t make for interesting reading because all it is is a thinly veiled political statement. I want video game coverage not to read someone’s venting about what is admittedly a valid

Really...we’re making a board and video game collection about race now? Time to block this site. I want to read about games, not someone’s bizarre idea of race empowerment. Maybe find an article about short people that collect dinner plates or purple aliens with baseball cards.

Stop only seeing a persons color or race,..you self loathing race consumed types are truly the downfall of a normal inclusive world,..Shame on you for your racist click bait victim mentality article...

Pointing out that she’s a black woman, and implying that because she’s black, it’s somehow more interesting that she has a video game collection, is pretty racist. Her race has nothing to do with her hobby, and doesn’t add any value to the article.
