There was a guy at my work that wouldn’t show up some days because, as he would say, he couldn’t afford it. Just told the boss, “yall ain’t paying me enough to be here.” He’d say the gas it took to get to work was more than he made in a day. Dude was a real character.

That was me last week. Every single light on the dash of my wife’s minivan turned on. Looked at autotrader. Mark up on new ones like it is $15k. For $15k I could go to the dealership and have them change out everything on the front subframe for new.

Poor people are crazy, rich people are “eccentric”. /S

Traffic on my daily commute is almost back to pre-pandemic levels.  It also looks like the weekend MN cabin trip traffic is back.
