I wouldn’t mind if someone saved an original two door RAV4 and bonus points for the convertible.  However, +95% of SUV and CUV models could be lost tomorrow and no one would really care.

I’m hoping this is just a stepping stone for people to just go back to compact cars.

No car is completely uncollectable, there is always someone who loves them (hence the various festivals and rallies celebrating the unexceptional and awful cars), but there are some whose collectability will be low.

No Torch, it’s truly and irredeemably ugly. There is no angle from which it’s not an absolute mess.

I quit my job about 6 weeks ago and whenever anyone asks me if I’m bored yet I yell “NO" before they can finish the question.

I call this another day at the office, but I like the imagery

RE Neutral: I feel like quitting my job, walking out into a field and just screaming until blood comes out.

I would rather watch the syfy original movie where Danica McKellar fought an outbreak of Tasmanian Devils than this

I think The Simpsons nailed the narration thing pretty well.

Did a rewatch recently.

Don’t forget your inexplicable Looney Tunes jean jacket, possibly with Tweety Bird dressed as an inappropriate racial stereotype.

I think everyone saw the Lexus Predator grille and said “how can I do this but worse?”

You’re dead, honey.

America is at peak “look at anything but my tiny-dick” energy right now, big stupid plastic garbage like this is meant to look tough to hide how afraid its buyers are.

So I see that GM and Toyota are facing off in the ugliest grille contest.

You took the box? Let’s see what’s in the box! ... Nothing! Absolutely nothing! STUPID! You’re so STUPID!

I love the Honda E, and would trade my Model 3 for one tomorrow if it was available in Canada. It makes me a little sad that the car buying majority (I.e. everyone not on enthusiast blogs), wants nothing more than boring CUVs.

1st: I’m trying to imagine the media backlash if say...GM pulled the same thing. Should we be giving them a free pass just because Tesla are “green” according to them?

3rd Gear: Raphael, I think I get what you’re saying, but “bland-looking crossover things” are what sells right now.

Yes. For some people. I like what are now very old cars. There’s a visceral experience to driving them that doesn’t exist in new cars. Things that people call out an old car for; clunky suspension, a heavy clutch, no power steering, the fact that it always needs work, etc., are what I find enjoyable about them. I
