I wouldn’t mind if someone saved an original two door RAV4 and bonus points for the convertible.  However, +95% of SUV and CUV models could be lost tomorrow and no one would really care.

I’m hoping this is just a stepping stone for people to just go back to compact cars.  

No car is completely uncollectable, there is always someone who loves them (hence the various festivals and rallies celebrating the unexceptional and awful cars), but there are some whose collectability will be low.

No Torch, it’s truly and irredeemably ugly. There is no angle from which it’s not an absolute mess.

I love the Honda E, and would trade my Model 3 for one tomorrow if it was available in Canada. It makes me a little sad that the car buying majority (I.e. everyone not on enthusiast blogs), wants nothing more than boring CUVs. 

1st: I’m trying to imagine the media backlash if say...GM pulled the same thing. Should we be giving them a free pass just because Tesla are “green” according to them?
