Lots of people wouldn't. And it's all kinds of employees from senior managers to interns. I have watched developer after developer, each making at least $60k spill coffee or tea or something on the kitchen counter and walk away. I have seen people put their half eaten bowl of oatmeal into the sink without emptying

We're talking about $12k machine you can't buy vs home $200 pourover machines. Even the way they brew is different.

Remember that the Bistro was cleared out last Christmas for under $100. With the niggles, at that price, I think it's worth it. You have to spend more to get to the Technovirm and Bonavita realm.

I am curious why you note the inability to customize brew (water) temp in the Japan-market Hario V60 automatic when pretty much no (?) automatic pourover machines allow you to set a custom temp. They are all set for (between) 195-205.

I have some other tricks I'd like to offer up, in the spirit of helping one another.

Can you rollover to a Roth IRA or just a Traditional IRA? I already have a Roth and don't want yet another retirement account. Right now I have old-employer's 401k, Roth IRA, new-employer's 401k. I haven't dealt with the old 401k yet because I am not sure what the best course is.

I completely agree that most DJ's don't do anything but button pushing but just to play devil's advocate and offer an answer to your last inquiry: Kid Koala?

I have been using MightyText for a long time now and it works pretty well 75% of the time. The other 25%, it misses texts, fails to load images, receives duplicate texts, etc. They are getting better but I wish they could work out their kinks.

Is the last chart screenshot supposed to relate to the advice about discharging your phone fully once a month? It seems really out of place.

How about you just be happy that they updated the service to avoid this annoying flaw, rather than convince people they should learn to haggle better. This is a car rental service, not the swapmeet.

That's fine and all if you are talking about a can of beans. Go to a different Walmart. But have you been in a situation where you are hunting down the last bit of lobster, or bottle of truffle oil, or Red Sox baseball cap .. whatever your vice is and you have to choose between not having the item or putting up with

Throw it outside? As in pour the used grease into your lawn?

Same here, no rebate or coupon.

I agree with pickwick. I was sure I understood it as $102 until I read the comments.

I didn't say that nobody could make fresh ramen noodles. Restaurants can and do, obviously. I am just saying it's not something the average home cook thinks about making.

To clarify, these are restaurants that serve ramen with fresh noodles and stock (usually pork based) that have been simmering and reducing for 24-48 hours. This is not a shop that pours hot water into a cup of noodles. That's called a convenience store. Or, your company kitchen.

You are missing the point. The article is not simply "homemade food tastes better". It's more about a food that nobody thinks about making themselves. Ramen noodles requires alkaline which is a bit of chemistry unlike fresh (Italian) pasta which just needs flour, oil, salt, and eggs.

The logic here is sos confusing. I realize you are trying to be funny by making some joke about you being a bachelor and not knowing how to cool, but you deliver it in a strange way. You can get down with making homemade fresh ramen noodles but can't get down with making mac n cheese in a terrible manner?

I am not sure if you are the right target audience. This is not a solution for people eating 35 cent college ramen. This is for someone who pays $10+ bowl to eat ramen at a real ramen restaurant and is enterprising and interesting enough in cooking to try to make this at home. Similarly, nobody is recommending you go

I'm sorry, but what? How does putting a decorative piece of paracord around the end do anything to actually reinforce the connection? Think of the paracode as a sleeve and the cord as your arm. The cord can still slide freely back and forth and if you yank hard enough, it can still seperate from the connector.
