She’s only slightly more maternal than Lady Caroline. I guess she views it like she does marriage: it’s not really something she wants but she’ll be damned if won’t tick off that milestone so she can add it to her CV.

ROFL - LONG LIVE THE KING!!!!

Anything to the contrary is total bullshit.” Fuck yeah Judy Blume!

At a point there isn't value in asking people who are pushing 90 what they think about a nearly 60 year old woman who pals around with 30 to 40 year old nazis and does nothing all day but tweet like a 15 year old.  I'm sure Blume isn't anti trans but again, she's 85.

She’s 85, she isn’t online like the rest of us. Honest mistake.

You motherfuckers leave Judy Blume alone. She has done more to help kids struggling with issues than any of you assholes who want to pounce on every syllable. Go feel superior somewhere else.

One of the ways this show really shines is the catty putdowns they toss off about normal people. First episode was the “ludicrously capacious handbag” and this one was about Willa’s mom having too much food on her plate: “Does she know she can go back?” If you’ve hung around people like this the tone of the writing is

Was he taking off the mask, though?  Tom was in full damage control mode, grasping at any and every straw.  Shoring up his broken relationship with Shiv was probably just another desperate opportunistic play.

Give the Emmy to whoever managed to create a perfectly ambiguous line that could easily be read as an underline or a cross-out.

dang sucked seeing them fuck over shiv so fast, you know if she was a brother they’d have no problem being a trio (not a disgusting brother tho).

Even if they’re not funny, they’re still dogs, so I for one am always rooting for them. If they come out with a bunch of crazy energy, that’s adorable. If they’re anxious and trembly (or rigid with fear), that’s also adorable plus my heart goes out to them. And if they actually do what they’re supposed to do, they’re

My favorite part of the episode was Sarah Sherman antagonizing Colin Jost. Unlike Lisa from Temecula, that premise will never not be funny to me.

I think it’s because he never looked young.

At least it’s the day after. I was spoiled by death spoilers as early as 7pm PST on other sites. EW and TVLine, to be specific, were too revealing. Reddit had some spoilery titles that were a bit more discreet than these sites. It’s not something I can prepare in avoiding, either. There was no big HBO announcement:

It really was! Especially after the scene in episode 1 where Logan tells Liam he is his best friend. The look of shock and loss on his face was perfect!

The fact that the episode aired on Easter and featured all the siblings wearing black at a wedding made me think this was another Logan Roy master manipulation of Roman until if finally set in he was actually dead. Then it was clear how perfect the episode really is for the story Succession is telling. Brilliant! I

If this is really the end of Brian Cox’s run on the show”

couple of thoughts:

There was so much to take in with this episode.

The way the showrunners managed to disguise Logan’s sudden death so early in the season in an episode called “Connor’s Wedding” is brilliant. So much of Game of Thrones leaked, and they somehow kept this under wraps. Looks like HBO learned it’s lesson.
