He learned to ape a range of behaviors without conviction.

I just watched him in the original Top Gun the other day.

Showing my age, I’m sure, but for me Ironside will always be the deus ex mercenary who rallies the human resistance in the classic ‘80s sci-fi miniseries V, and its sequel V: The Final Battle.

I think I'd go so far as to put it as Moon Knight, Loki, WandaVision. And I love Loki. But I really think Moon Knight was something special.

You would think that, but then you remember that they decided to put the spinoff* of the show that had been on amazon prime video for 7 seasons onto imdb tv instead, then also that they should for some reason change the name of imdb tv to freevee, which is just abjectly terrible, then it all makes sense because

What fucking fish brain moron put Falcon and Winter Soldier ahead of Moon Knight?

One was the large emblem on the back of the kid’s jacket who yeeted himself off the cliff - that was a bust of Rama-Tut. This was confirmed by Diab in an interview that week.

Also a nice nod to how representation matters.

It absolutely is. For her (and everybody else) superheroes are commonplace, but she was thrilled to find out there were Egyptian superheroes. Also a nice nod to how representation matters.

In a way, the young woman excited to specifically see an Egyptian hero is an acknowledgement we are in the MCU world full of other heroes.

There was also a reference made to Madripoor.

I think it really helped Moon Knight remain standalone by a) having literally no need to incorporate any existing MCU stuff (everything on Disney+ so far tied into an existing franchise/character, for example) and b) setting it in two locales not really used in the MCU so far (Sarf Lahndan and Egypt).

Was it the best final episode I’ve seen ? No. Was it even as good as the episode that lead up to it ?Nope. But damnit what a ride it’s been ! What I enjoy most about these Marvel shows, almost across the board, is the unpredictability of them. Especially WV, Loki and Moon Knight, nearly every episode was a revelation

Busted up laughing when the avatars realized that Khonshu was right all along.

Harrow not only escaped Ammit’s justice and Khonshu’s justice (well, for awhile anyway), he escaped human legal justice, too!

Hiding in that sarcophagus.

Did anyone else feel like Layla’s Tawaret avatar armor was taking WW84's armor and making it something people would actually care about?

The problem with that logic is that Ammit already killed people, including the avatars of other gods. Harrow killed a lot of people in the name of whatever offenses that might be committed at a later date. It would be both retribution for these killings and preventative, as more would surely happen again if they were

I don’t think the show views Jake as actively working against Marc and Steven. His interests are just still aligned with Khonshu’s, while theirs are not. As far as we can tell, the other two personalities are free, which is what they asked for. Jake doesn’t have to be adversarial to the others while performing his

Can I bring the mood down a sec? As someone who was abused as a child by his mother, (I know, I know. I’m OK now) this shit was downright cathartic. Tears and everything.
