Car came with it pulled - unfortunately. Had a B-Series motor at one point, then when the PO blew that they put a D back, but didn't bother adding AC back.

Wasn't bad! Just makes for a long hot day, when you've ripped out your AC :P

Point taken, but Honda's massive recall of nearly every 1998-2000 model for the exact same type of issue that GM is dealing with now, handily dispels that notion. Difference lies in the fact that Honda admitted it and fixed it once they started failing.

The ILX is the spiritual successor to the CSX, and EL which were both Canada only models based on EDM and JDM Civics... They sold well here, so Acura was all like OMG LET's TRY IT IN THE STATES, EH?
