I don’t normally comment, but I felt the need to point out the hypocrisy of this article. I’m all for pointing out if a women is being body shamed, for whatever reason, but to call a white, non curvy, white, blonde, blue eyed girl a “ walking bowl of buttered noodles” is absolutely doing the SAME DAMN THING.

No problem(s).

Not my candidate either but at some point this just becomes propaganda....you can call it what you want but a media site essentially shilling for one candidate while lambasting the other at every turn (and with some really old arm’s length type accusations) becomes propaganda not news

When will this website stop with the Trump takedown pieces? Obviously you aren’t convincing anyone that’s here already.

James Corden is such a try-hard, he makes Taylor Swift look effortlessly cool. PLEASE STOP, JAMES. GO BACK TO ENGLAND.

I actually kinda love it. Good for him. It’s a fucked up thing to do.

This happened to a friend of mine. He had his dog in his car with the AC running and a bowl of water. When he came back to his car it had been broken into and the dog was gone. They left a nasty note about leaving the dog in the car and how he could find the dog at the animal shelter. Total bullshit.

SO MUCH THIS! I had a 12 pound chihuahua who was extremely friendly and well-behaved. As such, I brought him pretty much everywhere with me. This, of course, meant occasionally having to tie him outside a store or leave in the car when running an errand.

I once left my dog in the car for less than 2 minutes on a rainy March day in Texas (let’s say low 60s) and he was fine but I got yelled at by the grandma parked next to me.

That’s people just trying to make a point. I had people argue with me a couple of times when I was waiting tables telling me how ‘long’ they waited. One guy was such an asshole that I showed him the elapsed time on the POS machine that showed his total time in the restaurant (eating and everything) was 17 minutes. He

I had a similar situation where I was running in to grab a bottle of water for my dog at a store and I knew I would be only a minute and that the AC had been cranked so high that it was cooler in my car. As I was walking in a guy started yelling at me for not rolling down a window and no amount of explaining that I

Yup- my parents ran into a similar situation once, but while dog-sitting for a crazy-pants dog. The lady let him out of the car in a crowded parking lot and screamed at them while they tried to find it.

right? in 2016 its so easy to leave a dog in the car safely—I saw a pic of one online that had a little signed taped in the window that said the dog had water, AC, and was listening to his favorite band—i just feel like theres so much potential for overreaction here?

Self-righteous people are going to be self-righteous with or without this law. Most people aren’t going to know about it, and at best, it might discourage people who DO leave their dogs in overheating cars for too long. It will only protect people who can prove the animal was in imminent danger, and your dog obviously

This happened to me and a friend when we were driving her sedated dog back from the vet. I hopped out at a gas station to get a snack and she got out to pump gas. It was about 75-ish degrees, so the dog was lying down with the windows cracked. I came out to find a woman screaming in my friend’s face that she “didn’t

You know how some people don’t give a flying fuck when some terrible disaster kills countless humans, but will cry like it’s the end of the world if a dog gets hurt? Usually with the excuse “people can defend themselves, dogs can’t” as if people could actually defend themselves from getting shot on sight or buried

It’s so amazing that you and your dog never encounter an emergency pharmacy run or another other of life’s small inconveniences when you’re together. Not all of us responsible pet owners have that luxury. Sometimes shit happens and Fido isn’t going to die from spending 5 minutes in the car with the windows cracked. It

I once took my son and my elderly, but huge, husky down to pay my cable bill. It was nine in the morning and still pretty nice out. I wasn’t gone that long. Meanwhile, he had rolled down the window, jumped out, jumped in a parked convertible, jumped into another car, and was finally stopped by a young woman with a

Former veterinary nurse here. I obviously know about dogs overheating in cars, but I question this. You can’t just smash the window, you also have to get the dog out of there and cooled down. I’ve seen really experienced animal nurses be mauled to hell when trying to help a distressed animal. Breaking the window in a

I’m undecided.
