Yeah, she has a job, but it is a special Braverman job where she never has to go in but never has to worry about money.

Ha! I definitely did wince a little bit at the Syndey shots. "Victor, dude, what are you doing?! Don't poke the bear! DON'T POKE THE BEAR!"

Especially because the show made a big deal out of how they made so much more money than they expected on the sale of the house.

I like that Drew drove to Portland in what appeared to be less than a day and yet it took multiple days for the family to travel from Berkeley to Bakersfield. Oh, Parenthood, never start making sense, geography-wise. It's one of your many charms!

Yeah, it was really well-written, both by Victor and by the writers making it sound like something Victor COULD have written.

Crap, think of everyone who must have had some of Drew's cashew butter this school year! We could have a floppy hair epidemic on our hands!

Ryan is an unemployed guy in his late 20s with mental problems who lives with his incredibly abrasive mother. You've got to lock that shit down.

Having unprotected sex with your injured ex-fiance in a public hospital room? Amber was wearing her Bad Idea Jeans this episode.

The over-stuffed nature of the episode was a bit much, as I would have liked to have seen the Haddie storyline be given a bit more attention. I think that goes with my previous comment that it seemed like Katims is confident that we'll get a season six, in which case we'll presumably see more of Haddie. I'm impressed

Cool, thanks!

I agree that Victor earned it, but I don't think Zeek even considered giving it to Victor because of his age. As Brendan noted, there will be other cars in the future.

Question for the comments section based on something my wife and I were wondering about. If you brought your college significant other home with you, would your parents be okay with you sharing a bed? My wife thinks most people would, because it is college. I really don't know (I know I never tried it - my college

I really appreciated the tribute, of sorts, to the late Richie Havens with the final Dylan cover. Anyone know where that particular performance was from (I know Havens has covered "The Times They Are a-Changin'" about a billion times, so it is tough to pinpoint where this one is from)? R.I.P. Mr. Havens.

It WAS weird and a bit unsupported, but I think Zeek and Drew HAVE been very close (Drew lived there for a few years, after all) so I can see Zeek intending the car to go to Drew all along.

The comments section here had me absolutely convinced that Zeek was dying (or at least that it was a very strong possibility) so I was thrilled that he did not. How I Met Your Mother was enough for me, thank you very much!

Thanks for the reviews, Todd, they've been consistently excellent. They truly are a big part of the Parenthood viewing experience for me and my wife. Although personally I was kind of hoping you would do this last one with Sonia just to see people cry.

This really was the equivalent to how Rick and Morty ended this season. It was basically Katims saying, "I don't give a fuck! That's season five, motherfuckers!" I actually like that. It strikes me as though he wouldn't do that unless he was really confident that we'll get a season six (even if he publicly says he has

And she is terrible on it. I mean, whatever, it is a stupid role on a stupid show but she is awful on it. She's decided to give her character this affected voice that I guess is supposed to be what she thinks a "butch" lesbian would sound like but wow, just awful.

Are we supposed to believe that Starburns has since become a Dave Matthews Band fan?

How awesome, by the way, was the Dean's understated "you don't need to say anything, Jeffrey, I know you were moved thinking about me" look? Although the Dean shouldn't take anything out of him and Jeff both finding Sutherland the sexier actor than Gould. Anyone with eyes and a soul would say that!
