Might I suggest this to continue the storyline:

Okay, Semantical Singulatarian, they've written a chapter in the future of the life of Jimmy/Saul that they have to adhere to, that I'm sure, in the organic process of writing, becomes frustrating once in a while as things pop up that they might like, that they cannot keep or explore. Better?

A few thoughts came to mind as I watched this wonderful episode:

For me it was the uneven tone, and speed at which some of the more interesting plot lines were brought up, hastily dealt with, and then dropped. I think Iowa was an interesting change that held more weight as the season 3 cliffhanger, than the season 4 plot-line it wasn't. I can understand the desire to get Hannah

Just finished the episode, and think, weirdly enough, after the last three episodes the show was just beginning to hit a stride in tone, and character beats that the rest of the series up until now was sorely missing. Tonight's episode was funny, amazingly paced, wonderfully shot (the slow tracking shot away from

I found the whole thing to be kind of tedious and boring. The stand out tracks are the opener, and "Pistol"(for all the wrong reasons, including being one of the worst attempts at a "song" I've ever heard). It's not a horrible album, just nothing worth the time, or the anticipation. Pretty boring on every level. It

Holy fuck! The Kellogg's cereal mascots are a franchise! I DO LOVE A GOOD FRANCHISE!

I meant a good bowl of cereal… I love a good bowl of cereal! Which could be considered a cold soup.

I meant cereal. I love a good cereal! (not soup, sorry)

I meant soup. I love a good soup!

Hooray! I love a good franchise!

"undermines one of the show’s most important thematic elements"

I was thinking about it, and the show, in my opinion (I think there is an internet acronym for that?) is really "gourmet" or "high-end" sitcom. Something that has been flirted with before in the medium, but never realized so thoroughly, or so well done. This is not a knock against the quality of the show, but I feel

It was a good episode in a sub-par season. The pacing of the show seems really off, a bit to rushed, like we're just waiting to get to the good bits. I need a little more breath in everything, and yes, maybe a little more time in Iowa would've been nice.

Personally, I loved, and always have loved the stuff dealing with Ray. He's my favorite fringe character, and the more focus on him, in my opinion, the better.

All I heard was he had a really terrible trial, where another guy who helped him kill this girl got off with barely a slap on the wrist, and he didn't, and now he's stuck in jail, and the other guy gets to drink 40s in the free air. Other than that, there was nothing else to convince me otherwise…

Sucks that he's still guilty.

I wonder if he talks to his brother Dennis anymore..

I like "Girls" but I feel like it veers off when it gets close to actual dramatic character changes. The most recent example being "Beach House" where they flirted with the very real, very immediate idea of trying to hold on to your friends in your twenties, while trying to define yourself, coupled with trying to be

"Girls" has officially become tires spinning in the mud, with a boring, inactive main character, and far more interesting ancillary characters being forced into melodramatic arcs, or forgotten about all together while the cracks in logic about what it probably really is like to live in NYC (ie. paying bills, holding
