But, like, AOC and Tlaib and the others mentioned there are actually pretty vocal and visible.

I mean, you can quibble with whether or not Sanders does enough to disclaim the misogyny of some of his more vocal supporters. But that has nothing to do with my point, which is that he has plenty of prominent supporters who are women of color, and you can’t just erase them by painting his supporters as angry white…
Actually, what I’m suggesting is that what I’m describing doesn’t show up in favorable/unfavorable polling but does likely present itself in primary polling.
Also, can you imagine how much of an insane shitfit liberals would be in if Bernie at all implied he wouldn’t support whoever the nominee ends up being?
The point is that your initial argument — a Sanders candidacy couldn’t unify the party because so many people are nursing grudges over 2016 — is countered by all available data, and you’re using that scenario (lots of Dems angry over 2016) to explain a different question (why isn’t Sanders the runaway frontrunner).
More AOC fans are likely to be Bernie folks than Biden folks so I would much rather have AOC's endorsement but thanks
I’m so fucking sick of all these people omggggggggg.
Would it kill her to accept an ounce of blame for running a piss-poor campaign and condemning us all to 4-8 years of Trump? Fuck her and the corporate funded jet she flew in on. She’s was and is part of the problem and the best thing she can do to be part of the solution is to go get lost in the woods again.
Weird flex from someone whose endorsement might hurt more than help but okay
“wait...are we the baddies?”
I have my issues with Sanders’s being an independent throughout his career instead of just being a Democrat. But your post is basically nonsense.
Too many Democrats blame him for 2016 for him to ever be the unifying candidate he and his supporters claim him to be
In the doc, you’re brutally honest on Sanders: “He was in Congress for years. He had one senator support him. Nobody likes him, nobody wants to work with him, he got nothing done. He was a career politician. It’s all just baloney and I feel so bad that people got sucked into it.” That assessment still hold?
I don’t necessarily disagree with everything she says but the argument that Sanders and Trump are two sides of the same coin is ridiculous. Also, this seems like pettiness and sour grapes.
The constant erasure of women and poc that support Sanders is really interesting to watch.
Real tough blow for the Sanders campaign that one of the least popular public figures in America might not go out campaigning for him.
Remember when her campaign leaked photos starting the whole "secret Muslim" thing? Can she just... not? What is this even hoping to accomplish? If she couldn't be president, no Democrat ever will?
I don’t necessarily disagree with everything she says about the 2016 stuff, but her campaign in 2008 wasn’t sweetness and light. Also, discounting Bernie’s present-day supporters is myopic.
Old ass?
