Same, except I passed on it earlier than that. Absolutely still regret it.

Weird. At Saab it was called “Stockholm Syndrome”
I get that a lot, too. I’m neither a girl, gay, nor a hairdresser. But I’ll let you in on a secret... I’m having too much fun in my car to care what anyone thinks.
I see that now, you know on Kinja it’s always a safe bet to assume the worst. My mistake.
The main question remains though... Miata? Or Boxter??? Now these are the real dividing questions in our society!
I don’t know if this is an attack on people wanting lower taxes but most people who desire lower taxes don’t want basic needs like roads negated, but rather want their taxes spent more wisely.
No, lower taxes for me, but more spending on the shit *I* depend on. If I don’t feel like I’m “winning” (ie, getting back more than I put in), I’m going to vote for the first candidate who promises to make it happen.
I almost missed it. Every article she writes has some sort of sexist/feminist remark in it.
Way to be sexist, Alanis. Dudes can be secretaries, too.
At 5.8 seconds to 60 the current 155HP Miata has basically the same 0-60 as the S2000 and now they’re adding 30 HP.
Miata thinks S2K is 450 lbs. overweight.
Not exactly a fair comparison, but I get where you are going. 12 years is a lot of time in the auto industry, and the Camry pictured has the benefit of those 12 years in the rearview mirror. With that said, here’s a 2006 Camry XLE interior.. An argument could be made that the Camry’s interior in 2006 still was…
at least compare the same years

If you happen to have the great fortune to try some drive one, as I did, be warned: You might wake up one morning in a daze, a few thousand dollars short and with a mid-engine Japanese sports car in the driveway complete stranger in the bed with you. But, the best stories come from bad decisions.
Naa. They will migrate all built-in parts failures to software flaws. Get ready for proprietary software diagnoses at $140/hr.
The Germans needn’t worry - I’m sure they’ll be able to engineer the electric-motor equivalent of an Audi timing-chain system and keep their mojo.
My wife and I just bought a 2006 Miata as her DD. Even with an automatic, it’s fun as hell. A Boxster would have been her first choice, but we were able to get a Mazda with under 70k miles for $7,500. We’re replacing a lot of little things that haven’t been done over the past 12 years (coolant overflow tank, O2…
The east coast cries out for its own Radwood.
Not being bad with money ≠ never having to choose between paying a bill or eating
