32 years old and never had love for muscle cars growing up in the F&F import craze of the early 2000's. Drove DSM’s and turbo Mitsubishis, miatas for a decade. At 28 bought a muscle car and man there is nothing like an old muscle car with a 4 spd and a big engine.

The worst part is I drove home sitting in the pee, parked it in the garage and noticed the next morning my garage smelled like a urinal. I was at my god son’s little league game. I think kids did it.

Are you the guy that pee’d in my Miata?

For some reason people car about non-sense 1 of 1 type crap. This would be a really cool car for 12-15k not for 31.

Love seeing a starquest and DSM on this list. Mitsubishi needs more love. Plug for the 2019 DSM Shootout in Norwalk, Ohio. Man I want me a 1G DSM/GVR4 again.

I am 100% with you. These are controlled races with police details. No worse than any other forms of entertainment.

It’s a Jeep thing...you wouldn’t understand.

Mid 90's F-250 or F-350. Bullet proof and fun!@

I kinda wanna buy an R33 GTR now and pay for storage in a foreign country until it is legal.

Not a car but rather a piece of history/art. I have a 42k 1972 Chevelle and it drives about 35 miles a year. It kills me not to drive it and it kills me to drive it. Its a catch 22. I am not rich either.

But “Ultimate Driving Machine”.....

Notes to self:

Parts and service. If you aren’t DYI at least the Supra, Hondas, RX7, and Skylines some shops know how to work on the JDM counterparts no biggie. Also getting parts isn’t too bad. You start talking about obscure Brazilian cars or low production Euros and man it will cost more than the car to keep it running.

Can’t wait until someone makes a car culture movie from the early 2000's involving sport compacts!

The malaise area was pretty bad the GN was my favorite out of that decade and still lacked a stick shift.

Florida titles have been known to be issued to imports prior to 25 yrs. Not saying this is the case but it is important to see when it was imported.

Options and packages on the used cars maybe?

I do like my heavy clutch mechanical feel in my 67 Camaro

Old 4 speeds used external shift levers as well. I love my Muncie M20! Also Honda’s earliest cars used shifter cables I would assume they were invented for FWD manual cars but I am not sure of the exact history.

I wonder if there was an internet blog site back when cable clutches and Z-bars made way to the slave cylinder and hydraulic clutches if we would have the same gripes.
