Man we need an East coast Radwood.
Man we need an East coast Radwood.
I can’t imagine what this guy is going through. Painstakingly restored the Galant vr4. Anyone know the cause of the fire? At least no one was hurt.
Jalop should ban him. Adds nothing useful to the conversation. Plus that 30yr old Mitsubishi helped to kick off the Evolution platform, the 4G63t is a legendary engine, and the DSM shared multiple parts in common.
Spectacle. It is the circus aspect of life.
“A motor vehicle that is at least 25 years old can be lawfully imported into the U.S. without regard to whether it complies with all applicable FMVSS. Such a vehicle would be entered under Box 1 on the HS-7 Declaration form to be given to Customs at the time of importation. If you wish to see that form, you may…
The 1992 models went into production in September 1992 for delivery in October 1992. People imported these early but NHTSA and CBP could catch up. They are very tight on the 25 year rule.
I am flying to CA next time for this.
Make sure you get the correct paperwork. Also if it was made in Jan of 1993 it is probably a 1992 model year. NHTSA is pretty strict on down to the month for importing.
I only had problems once I started swapping a bunch of parts and making big power.
Had a 1997 GS-T auto. For a fun street car the autos are not as fun at all compared to the manual. For legit drag racing the 2G auto transmission is bad ass. Kiggly has it in the 7's. in his FWD 1g.
Jalops knows a fews things and one things jalops knows iz its not how you stand by your car its how you drive it. you better learn that.
Man I want to import a JDM SW11 GT and drive the hell out of it.
Lane, Joan and Don is the driver.
I sent them an email about a GTR32 they had there. I am looking for a good example without rot/rust and not junk. He said he would send me photos etc. I live in RI so I can’t just go down there on a whim. They also said they do not go over cars when they get them in. No service at all.
I agree and feel the smartphone/internet and unlimited access to instant data made the car obsolete as far as enthusiasm goes. No longer is the vehicle seen as a freedom. Now its virtual with a smart phone.
Patrick have you bought anything through Duncan Imports? I have found them impossible to deal with. It is like they don’t want to sell cars at all.
I see it more being from NHTSA basically. Just like other things that silently go by the wayside in the interest of safety.
Poor people will be self driving internal combustion cars for years. Humans will be restricted.
I have been watching their site for quite sometime the GTR32 is few and far inbetween. I missed the last one by minutes.
Tom I keep having a problem trying to configure my stinger with a manual transmission. Must be a glitch.
