The best is the journeys you take to buy a car and it doesn’t quite pan out how you hope. Like you drive three hours to look at a MK2 GTI with an 8v that is running and driving. Only to find out it is on 4 flat tires, flat battery and once started it blows blue smoke from burned out valve seals.

I want a fun sports car $60k MAX what should I buy?

Reminds me of the South Park episode Blade Runner parody.

You are correct but most subprime auto loans are held by the manufacturers not credit unions and banks which are now more strict. This will lead to the downfall of the auto industry again...which leads to a recession, albeit to a much smaller level overall. This will hurt the middle and lower class. Well more than 96

Eventually people will just come to terms with the Cayman being the better car.

And KNOBS!

A broken side view mirror on a 1950's - mid 70's $20.00 mirrors now with cameras, turn signals, heaters, and mechanical motors now cost a ton. $500+ for a high tech side view mirror.

Just order from the Internet and ship to home. It’s gonna happen in 100 years or so after unions/franchises break

This is not how vehicle tax works. Regardless of where you buy it you have to pay tax at your local DMV/RMV.

Seriously if North Korea made a cheap, reliable, good looking, fuel efficient vehicle that under cut the entire market....yep people would buy it.

I had a 95 Rio Grande. Cool Jeep rotted to hell tho

Anyone with a Subbie here, can you confirm the speedo on these cars. I wanna know what we are looking at for speed.

Keep dropping baby! Maybe that 1SS Camaro is in the cards after all. Let the incentives begin!

Girl speeding 70 in a 45 in the fog at about 8PM. Tells officer she has a raging yeast infection just went to CVS and pulled out monostat and says she was heading home to apply. Welp big gulps huh see ya later!

I’m in the field of speed. These limits were set back in the 50's when cars were a little different. Power steering, manual drum brakes, safety glass, no B pillar, head rests, seat belts, collapsible steering column, 5MPH bumpers. Jeesh list goes on. I have a cut through neighborhood road, down a very steep grade set

Wow after reading this I hope someone makes a car called the Alien.

Exactly. It’s a scary dangerous world out there. We need the government specifically NHTSA to really crack down on these dangerous aspects of driving.

Negative let the poors have fast cars and hope they’ve kill themselves before they can breed more poors.

I think all cars should be federally mandated to be GPS monitored for speed. Going 65 in a 55? Ticket in the mail. You get to a race track then the car can be unlocked. NHTSA please mandate the following.

Pretty sure that was with a VHT prepped surface with that special track box.
