Trying to buy a true 72 454 4spd car LS5 engine. Hoping it works. Chrome bumper C3s are where it’s at.

Wow what I just read was journalism?
Will we have a day here with out politics? At all. Need a new car blog.
Ya kinda odd car bloggers with no cars....need doug back.
Slippery slope and paranoia? You posted a graph that proves safety isn’t paramount. What makes you think if lives and money can be saved why they wouldn’t ban self driving.
I do keep it fun. 72 Chevelle, NA Miata, C5Z, and a Harley. Regular cars are subjected to a ton of regs but then you had convertibles and motorcycles which are much more relaxed standards of course.
We already subsidize the poor, fatherless families, those who are unwilling to work etc. another subject for another day.
Yes, if tomorrow they allowed Factory Five AC Cobras or Porsche Speedster (insert any cool car no longer made) to be sold on dealerships ready to go like a new Focus YES. I will sign my life away on whatever waiver they need! Damn it motorcycles are legal (no helmet law in RI for operator) and so are other three wheel…
I read your post. Tech from the 919 will trickle down? Just like tech from the F1 Mclaren did right? Still cost prohibitive.
Plenty of 90's Jeeps on the roads still. Something tells me people like them. Buying poor MPG cars was far from the cause downfall.
How can you tell someone else the they are wrong in their desire purchase a particular vehicle? Thousands upon thousands of people are dumb? What is it? People like their large autos it’s been that way for years. We are talking about EPA regs here for autos. Not manufacturing of the cars or textiles.
What Muslim ban?
It’s amazing the information that is out there.
New cars are out of reach for many Americans. No new sub-10k economy cars any more! Cheapest is a Nissan Versa sedan at 12-13k before incentives!
I’ve been agreeing with you.
At 54MPG the govt aka EPA is basically mandating what to produce.
Ok buddy it’s a opinion of the American consumer (see sales figures let’s say...wranglers and full sized trucks vs hybrids and sub-compacts) second the big three have also been against this recent jump in cafe regs to 54MPG+
Yes yes you can! Those photos were pre-air pump emissions were wide spread. We are in a time of cat converters, fuel injection, more efficient engines. No one wants carbs and catless cars again! Just loosen the fuel milage standards and get some good cars back on the road instead of these crap Fiestas.
I don’t see emissions regulations changing but MPH average standard needs to go.
Over 54MPG average is way too much. These small turbo motors suck 1.0 3cyl Turbo motors in these tiny hatch backs. Pro-electric vehicles. No wonder car prices are through the roof.
