So your inability to use a motion plus controller equates to “Skyward Sword sucks so bad” and should therefore be forgotten? Skyward Sword was fucking great 99% of the time, and even that remaining 1% was far from “sucks so bad it should be forgotten”. It gets old, coming across this ridiculous assessment of that game

I would. Skyward Sword is very much “Wind Waker, but with flying.” Of course, SS is much more excellent than that little snippet would suggest (and is, in fact, my favorite Zelda game now), but that’s essentially what it is.

Companies have an obligation to provide what was promised when it was initially sold. If they promise product 1.0 for $60, then you get product 1.0 for $60. If they later offer to sell product 5.4 with new features and content for $2.50, then you would have to pay $2.50 to get that. none of the stuff Obsidian is

..and don’t be stupid, how is paying for it twice ‘a good idea’?

I never said there should be no regulations. I don’t think regulations to keep workers safe a bad thing. The federal government of the United States regulates to make the common man poor and the rich get richer and more powerful. Every single politician in D.C. is corrupt from the President the supreme court to

Pretty much exactly what I think. You act like it’s wrong to hold personal philosophy in higher regards than corporate fuckery.

Gaben, stop posting comments on Kotaku and get back to work fixing the Summer Sale Game.

As much as I hate giving Capcom money (and I do), and as much as I hate the unceremonious murder of Mega Man, I will be buying this shit day one. Because Mega Man.

I preferred Ms. Pac-Man because it only cost nineteen cents to play rather than the full quarter necessary to play Pac-Man.

You could put this comment on every article on Kotaku because it’s fucking video games.

He lifted Thor’s hammer. You have to be of exemplary moral fiber to lift Thor’s hammer. That’s why they all trusted him so fast.

This is exactly why democracy doesn’t work, Kirk.

Or, and this is crazy: try to get it right.

It really is all about Ethics In Death Threats

We can't bust heads like we used to back in the day, but we have our ways. Like the time I caught the ferry over to Shelbyville. I needed a new heel for my shoe, so, I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time.

Reading through the comments, the support and understanding from Smash fans is really heartwarming.

It seems like I am one of the few that is tire of all of these "realistic" looking games that age horribly. I wish more people appreciate style over realism, so that I wouldn't have to see so many games that look the damn same.

Those of us that don't live in NYC or LA also have less than 10 megabit internet connections and these updates take hours and hours all over America. I think there is a misconception that we can all just suck this stuff down over the wire in no time because the folks who write about it live in massive metro areas

I just picked up mario kart last week in preparation for thanksgiving with the family. It absolutely rocks and I spent about 5 hours last night playing online. It's insanely fun locally or online. EVERYONE SHOULD BUY A WII U!

This is one of the more annoying recent trends on Kotaku. You see a headline along the lines of "___ things we ____ about ____", open the article, and it's just a video. For those of us at work and can't watch videos, or simply in a hurry, give us a quick summary.
