Out of all the sadistic shit I've seen this show do, subjecting me to that was probably the worst. That was like, Lester letting Linda catch a bullet levels of fucked up.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead is my MVP for the season. David Thewlis is giving a great performance, but I think Varga is a really poor character.

I don't think I've ever rolled my eyes harder during this show than at the triumphant return of Sheriff Dumbfuck.

"Mr. Marjorie's just had me stitches!"

Season 2 was my favorite. Kirsten Dunst gave one of the best performances I've ever seen on television, maybe even the strongest of the series.

Residual goodwill? Even if it continues on like this, I think there's a lot of people who won't allow themselves to even consider being disappointed until after the finale ends and they're left with a big old nothin'.

At this point, they've tried to kill her too many times for her not to make it to the finale.

It's problematic in itself that we're seven episodes in and inventing motivations for him.

"Triple homicide, you say? Well, little missy, I do not believe I am legally obligated to care."

I'll always give this show the benefit of the doubt, they haven't let me down yet, but I have a sneaking suspicion this bus just swerved towards the snow bank.

Either way, it's bad writing.

Yuria, Meemo and Varga are so brazen and open about their crimes that it's starting to look really dumb. I agree it's unearned, they've done nothing that portrays them as the smooth criminals we're supposed to accept them as.

I agree, I think they would've shown her murder if that was the goal, but that doesn't change the fact that they ran a prison bus off the road, and a dozen other people were on the bus. That brings down some heat. I'm just saying, I can't see how that would ever be the sensible thing to do.

I'm incredibly disappointed with this episode. Was it entertaining? Yes. Did it fit thematically? Sure. But my God, is the plot dumb. Maurice, Emmit, Ray, Nikki, Chief Moe, Yuria, everyone is acting like an imbecile. Maurice's murder of Ennis was stupid. Ray and Nikki's extortion schemes, stupid. Emmit's alibi to

Jonah's monologue to Shawnee about overcoming being unlikely to survive at birth, hitting puberty at 19 and being at a 3rd grade reading level in 10th grade was a comedic tour-de-force.

"Tom's Diner" by Suzanne Vega has been stuck in my head for literally the majority of my life. Just the doo-doo-doo-doo DO-doo-doo-doo part, on a loop, for two fucking decades. I hate you, Suzanne. I hate you so much, you evil, heartless, chronically-depressed jingle-siren.

I'm not pro-gun, but I think it's really unfair to call Jane's attitude "disturbing." How can you not understand a victim of violence finding a tool of violence empowering? She's had her agency and sense of safety stripped away completely, it's totally understandable that she'd find a weapon comforting.

Paget Brewster! Have you heard her in Beyond Belief on Thrilling Adventure Hour? She's the perfect Myrna Loy replacement!
