New-gen consoles have barely been out for a year, but there's already a familiar story: a game launches and runs great on the PS4 and Xbox One, much less so on the PS3 and 360. Shadow of Mordor was an egregious example of this performance gap, but it's not the only one. Is there any hope for last-gen gamers?

I'm not sure I agree with your police work there Bob.

Don't leave us hanging bro.

I know what you mean and you're right in a many cases. Especially with sequels or updated releases, prior titles in a series generally rise in value (see: Elder Scrolls games). However, in the case of a straight re-release, like ICO or Marvel vs. Capcom 2, these games tend to spike in value for a short while,

My old copy of this game is just about to lose its value and I couldn't be more pleased. This game is fantastic and I'm glad these old LucasArts gems are coming back.

MY ONLY REGRET IN THIS WORLD IS THAT THERE IS NOTHING TEXTUALLY SUPERIOR TO EXPRESSING MY EXCITEMENT THAN A SERIES OF MY FAVORITE CELEBRATION .GIFS AND TYPING IN ALL CAPS. HOLY FUCK THIS IS HAPPENING PEOPLE. MY BOWELS HAVE JUST EXPLODED FROM EXCITEMENT.

I just want to slap the random jackasses who continually clap throughout the entire preview.

After a certain point you stop being drunk, even if your character continues to drink. According to GTA V, you can actually drink yourself sober.

Even as a vinyl collector (albeit nowadays I'm primarily devoted with collecting video game soundtracks), I know digital and CD formats are the superior options, but there's just something about owning and playing a records that's so satisfying. Especially in cases when you're listening to vinyl soundtracks of games

This reminds me of how fantastically OP mages were in DA: Origins. No matter how many enemies were in the room, everything was fucking dead after one or two spells.

What kind of sick and twisted bastard plays the Atari 2600 version of Pac Man? That game was so awful it hurt consumers' trust in Atari. (And then the game crash of '83 and ET placed the nails in the coffin)

"Robert needs to understand he needs to worry about himself No. 1 and not everybody else. It's my job to worry about everybody else. Yes, everybody else needs to improve, but it's not his place. His place is to talk about himself and he knows that."

This reminds me of this one particular moment when I used to play copious amounts of Halo 3 multiplayer when I was in high school. I was playing team death match on Valhalla. Near the end of the match, as I was at the highest point of the mid-air arc when I took the grav-lift, I no scoped(I try to avoid using that

Did you do this? I'm going to have to steal that. Bravo sir, bravo.

Someone beat you to the punch but screw it, I'll recommend that for another laugh.

Thank you for that.

I'd play it.

This isn't a glitch. It's a leaked screenshot of the newest "Fabio" DLC.

I do not know of this "New Zealand" that you speak of. Is it right above Australia next to Middle Earth?
