I did say earlier in my message that it wasn't necessarily a new thing to the world, and that fashion/perception of gender roles changes every century or so, even returning to a style once long gone. I guess I meant to ask what time, in a modern sense.

Remember, it's okay to be optimistic with Team ICO! They are notorious for their long development times, and the fact that Ueda has stayed on the team to make T.L.G. is a good sign; that means he is most likely still very invested in this project.

For any of the Japanese (historians/anthropologists) on this site, when did androgyny become a social norm in Japan. I know the popularity of androgyny has come in waves throughout world history (as well as the fact that these pictures are satire), but I am curious to know at what point Japanese culture moved from

Poseidon, the god of the sea, earthquakes, and deaths too awesome to comprehend.

My guess is that this is just going to be a Persona game with permadeath.

Not quirky at all! The word "Jedi" comes from those older samurai films. Made by directors which heavily influenced Lucas and the team of men that had to continually fight Lucas to make A New Hope good.lol

Hey, we started off with a Puritan/Imperialistic English background and a 4-6 month communication gap between countries, cut us some slack!

You know what? Nietzsche had no friends for a reason, you know.

You know what? I don't even care any more. F%$k you, Nintendo.

Hey now, a little over a century ago Victorian England was just as bad when it came to frivolous lawsuits.

Eh I tried. http://www.emuparadise.me/Sony_Playstation_Emulators/Android/2

I am not actually sure. The fact that SE pays little attention to anything that isn't Final Fantasy nowadays gives me a good indicative that it's not, but the original Playstation version should be around $15-$20(if you want it complete) and you can download a digital version for the Vita, PSP, and PS3.

Screw that, just go out and buy a copy of Vagrant Story. $6 on the Sony's online store and easily one of SquareSoft's greatest creations. If you really need to buy another FF game then sure, why not; you can never go wrong with a classic FF remake. I just mentioned this game because it is really under the radar to

Yes yes, the S3 plan, implanting memes into Raidens mind and whatnot. I've played the game dude, thank you for the concern.

I have many times actually, on the Vita, PS3, and PS2 iterations. I am obsessed with the Metal Gear Series. (I even played VR Missions and own copies of the NES games. Sadly I can't afford an MSX so I don't have the original version) This man's life is so deranged it's almost funny at this point. Also, envision a ten

I now know you are talking about DMC, but at first I thought you were talking about "Hobo Sam Fisher" from the prototype version of Splinter Cell Conviction.

HA!

It all depends on your preference. Dead Souls has a lot more action than Kenzan if that's more your thing. I was actually surprised with Dead Souls because it was essentially the only zombie-survival game with a story that I actually found to be really interesting. I would suggest Dead Souls because the story is great

My god, I played Kenzan with a computer screen right next to my television so I could watch the translated cut scenes alongside with the game because I am so heavily addicted to this series. I would play it again in a heartbeat if SEGA released it in the west. WHAT THE HELL SEGA, GIVE US THE ARROGANT SAMURAIS WE

I really noticed that in the Yakuza 2. Plot twist after plot twist, it was all starting to get a little silly(yet for some reason I couldn't keep my face away from the screen) near the end. Maybe it's my fanboy-ism or the fact that none of the other games get close to the second game in terms of last-minute plot
