Someone also hacked into Mt.Gox and stole all the accounts, loosely encrypted passwords, and emails a few days ago.

The biggest news with this is that ONE person horded enough bitcoins to do this. Some hacked into this account and sold off the 100,000+ bitcoins that it contained. Even if they roll back these changes, I'd be nervous that one person has the power to completely tank the market.
