I'm not sure where you get that from Males attempt suicide about 3x less than women. But ethnically? I have never heard of such a trend that WHITE males have the lowest attempt rate. They still have the highest suicide rate of males of all ethnicity, and again, overall among genders. Do you have a source?

It did used to be Native Americans, and there were many studies pre-2010 that showed this, and white males were right behind. But in recent years they've surpassed Native Americans.
