They could start with sport games that are easy to understand like rocket league or Fifa and build up to more complex games like dota or COD. Perhaps they could have people play the matches from their sofa’s to allow strong interactivity for fans

I don’t know watching lots of shows on a computer chair feels uncomfortable compared to sitting on a sofa. Watching live matches fully would be better on a TV.

The IP’s are probably stored in some authentication section. I know they store something related to where you live because it only ever asks for authentication when in a new IP. Valve should have that IP info they’ll know who wasn’t authorised that day

Wouldn’t it hold information on what IP it was logged in on? I’m pretty sure there would be one since we get asked all the time when using a pc in a different IP address.

Well DLC wasn’t as big back then it only got more annoying the years later.
