And Big Ben didn’t push to stay in Providence?

Where’s Rodgers?

Ah the old tradition of communists using children for propaganda. The parents of this chubby little bastard are complete scum.

I’m kinda overwhelmed with liberal catastrophism these days. I get it, the thought of Trump with the nuclear codes scares the shit out of me too (and just the general uncertainty of this meathead running the country leaves me anxious every morning). But I’m not mentally strong enough to handle it EVERY SINGLE DAY on

If this was a kid doing this at Obama’s inauguration you would calling for his parents to be locked up for the rest of their lives. Don’t you find it worrisome that a kid this age is setting fires and protesting like this? Kids are taught this kind of stuff? Have a friend who got her 5 and 7 year old so worked up

I dunno, man. I mean, I agree with the sentiment but that kid seems like kind of a little shit.

Meanwhile, inside at the Deploraball...

Hmm, I am troubled. On one hand yeah fuck Trump, but on the other hand letting your child set something on fire seems like the kind of thing a Republican mom would let happen.

For better or worse, whoever is in office when the bubble pops is the one that will get blamed. The economic disaster gets blamed on Bush because he was the sitting president. If the market crashes today, it’s Obama’s fault. If it happens next Monday, 100% Trump’s fault. It’s a stupid oversimplification, but that’s

What planet do you live on? How about we start with corporate debt:

Man, this is pretty much straight trash.

First, the economy is not in great shape at this point. Real wages have effectively gone nowhere as cost of living (mainly rents) has soared through Obama’s tenure. The labor force participation rate is still hovering near multi-decade lows, and most of the jobs created during

How do you get a job where your boss lets you rant about stuff and that’s it? I would be perfect for that. Can I be Hamilton Jr. and write these while you’re on vacation?

We also see that “social democracy” is falling apart in Europe. Eventually too many people are riding in the wagon and not enough people are pulling the wagon. The irony is that what usually happens is that the people riding in the wagon complain/revolt against the “system” (i.e. the proper actually working/posting

Having worked in another wildly reviled industry (pharmaceuticals) for a couple decades, I have seen a fair share of protests myself, and I can tell you the response you’re (not) getting from workaday employees is not at all surprising. Not in the least.

people dont have 500$ in the bank because theyre shit at money matters. thats not a pay issue thats a spending issue. even when i was in college working at pizza hut i had a thousand dollars saved in the bank in case shit happened. i also didnt have a cell phone until my senior year which costs people about 800$ every

Being upset or mad at Goldman’s presence in government would be like being upset that we don’t have more CFL alumni on NFL pre-game shows.

I get that these people are upset with Goldman Sachs, but yelling at employees about the gloves they wear or the possible thread count of their sheets just seems petty.

Most of them, I presume, consider themselves good people, and they probably care about various causes, and they think that they work hard and “add value” and earn their paychecks. It would be quite interesting to know how they square that self-conception with the much uglier image the protesters have of them.

So people are protesting people who left Goldman Sachs to join the government by picketing outside the people who didn’t leave Goldman Sachs?

No actual Goldman Sachs employees had anything to say for themselves at all.
