You’re entitled to your opinion. Fact of the matter is it was a bad decision. Their game is getting review bombed. Your opinion doesn’t change that, thing is I agree with you but they should’ve handled it differently that’s all.

This absolutely will hurt them, bad PR is bad PR. They can make up for it next time,  but saying they will be fine as their game is getting review bombed holds no merit. The only reason I said that was because the moderator indicated how unlikely it was that this occurred. I’m sure that if it did happen again someone

Get over myself? I agree with the company’s stance, what exactly am I supposed to get over? Just because I call them out on a bad decision Doesn’t mean I disagree with them.

What the hell are you talking about? Where did discrimination come from? I don’t even recall if it was in the article. I think you might’ve confused it with another article. If that was the case though I agree with you but I don’t think this is a case of discrimination.

Time to look like an idiot*

It’s good that you have no problem but they are being reviewed bombed. This is why they should’ve handled it better. They have no reason to change their game, It’s perfect how it is.  Inciting a bunch of children to review bomb your game  isn’t smart.

Who said you had to engage in conversation? You acknowledge the situation, make a statement and that’s it.  And customers are entitled respect. There are better ways of handling customers that lose their respect, but that goes for everyone. Everyone deserves respect, and everyone can lose that respect.

You’re right, the cusomer was an asshole. It’s bad business to stoop down to the level of an asshole customer though.

Saying nothing is better than saying that though. I agree with her stance and it’s the company‘s fault for having her moderate when she doesn’t work in PR. It could be a bad idea but most of the people complaining are children. I doubt they have the skills to use Photoshop the people wouldnt call them out on. My

I agree, it shouldn’t be the company whose job it is to sell games though because it makes them look bad. That’s the public’s job, you for instance, that I agree with. It would have been great for them to get their point across to whiny children without and PR damage is all.

I don’t remember it unfortunately. I didn’t get the chance to play the game it’s in my backlog but heard it amazing. Also didn’t see any posts about it otherwise I would have known. Hard to infer from your comment what it was about though as it could go either direction. Either way I’d be surprised if the developers

Still waiting for any PR statements from Apple or any big companies that tell their customers not to buy their product. Let’s hear it 10 years of awful customer service.

Being okay with something and being profitable are two separate things. You can be profitable and handle the situation that doesn’t let whiny children lead to a review bombing of your game.

Going out of business 101

When did I invalidate it? I agree with their stance. They should have handled it better. It is absolutely rude to tell your customers not to buy your product. The way you said it in fact is much better than the way the moderator said it.

If you have disruptive customers frequently you must be doing something wrong. Open and clear communication leads to less disruptive customers. Try thinking about that one before you tell successful people how bad they are at what they do.

I didn’t even read your entire comment because it was so full of shit. You’re an idiot first and foremost. Their stance on this issue is correct. The way they handled it was not good. That’s it. Learn to read before you type a two page response.

I didn’t challenge the depth of their response. The moderator didn’t work in PR or have an experience in PR. That’s a fact. You could do everything right but if you do something wrong, even one thing that’s what you’ll be held accountable for. That’s with anything in life.

Nice opinion there. Go open a business and tell people not to buy your product and see how well you do.

They shouldn’t have to it’s their game. They can do what they want. If you explain things to your fan base professionally or ignore it you’re better off. Look at Sony. They ignored crossplay til the rage quelled. Now no one cares and they win.
