C’mon. I love Jalopnik and I really enjoy your articles (especially the “women in racing” series), but this article makes no sense. There’s no ambiguity whatsoever in the original declarations that allows for the slightest bit of misinterpretation. He’s not talking about Ferrari, the historical entity in motorsport.

Hey, can we stop ruining the result in the title of the artice?

Heritage doesn’t mean shit when it’s worse than what replaced it.

A new service filling in the void and not going the “independent contractor” route would be great. That doesn’t mean people can’t concurrently hold Uber and others accountable in the meantime.

People drove taxis as a job. Stop blaming the poor and start blaming corporations.

This is a very bad take

Lavender scented handles are worth 40 cents right?

At least you got the article quietly updated to “Any alternative to filling your body with more Sackler-family pharmaceuticals is a net win.”

Eat some deadly nightshade, eat some glyphosate, see which kills you quicker.

That’s how it works at a decent dealership. If you are shopping for a new car and it isn’t going like that, walk. They are all the same no matter where you buy them, with rare exceptions. You will probably get boned on the exceptions anyway.

That’s exactly how it should be. Go in prepared, armed to the teeth and ready for battle. That you didn’t need to bring out the big guns is a sign that they could tell you were a force to be reckoned with. Peace through strength.
