If you want something to take up 15º of visibility placed 280 miles away, you need something nearly 75 miles wide. Something that large will never be cheap to launch, and if orbital decay happens that quickly, it’s going to be horrendously expensive for a short-lived campaign. Yeah, totally agree. No.

Just me, but I dislike tri-fold wallets. They do become more compact in the pocket, but the way they do strange things to your cash.... Though I spend less and less cash these days, so maybe I should perhaps rethink that.

I feel like Ayrton Senna would’ve hated the way Honda-McLaren F1 team saga went down. There were a lot of animosity from both sides, but I feel like McLaren let Alonso poison their relationship with Honda for no apparent reason, especially since he left F1 right afterwards anyway.

Fair enough. Maybe perhaps the OP misspelled “closed runway”?

You misspelled “racetrack”

idk, MY 2018 would’ve been purchased in 2017, right? 10-15k miles/year doesn’t strike me as all that huge.

Except the Facebook IPO. I seem to recall there being some kind of collusion to prop the price up, even though the initial investors seemed to understand that Facebook didn’t really have any inherent “value” at the time.

I like to think Jezza listening to Viper007Bond made the show that much better.

Damnit, I’m not crying, you’re crying.

Hah, “city trails”. I’m stealing.

What about anti submarine warfare?

Alternatively, just eliminate said shitty political system.

No, I would really wish a constitutional amendment would establish that corporations are not people and which rights a corporation would have; and one that does not include freedom of speech in said list. Thanks for putting words in my mouth though.

I’m not particularly for corporate money in politics, but if I were generating several millions and up in profits per year, it’d seem silly not to try to influence the government to my benefit with a part of that money.

Similar reasons for why they like racquetball (memberships required), tennis (courts and lessons are expensive), sailing (really expensive barriers to entry), and skiing (everything about the sport is expensive and far away).

I see so many more CR-Vs than HR-Vs in the NYC-area. I have a feeling HR-Vs didn’t sell all that well.

I can totally see that, and my long skis hate it when it gets ski’ed out and things get bumpy. The long ones are for going down fast.

Apparently they were 180 cm. I think I got the 175 and 180 combined in my head somehow.

Nice! Thanks for the response. I’m a bit leery about having them all slide-y and stuff inside the cabin, so roof rack it was. They get super dirty though, so maybe next time fiancée and I go car shopping to replace the ski-mobile, we’ll see about something longer.

With the 3rd row down ours can carry our skis and luggage without resorting to a roof rack.”
