If you want something to take up 15º of visibility placed 280 miles away, you need something nearly 75 miles wide. I’m not particularly for corporate money in politics, but if I were generating several millions and up in profits per year, it’d seem silly not to try to influence the government to my benefit with a part of that money.

Similar reasons for why they like racquetball (memberships required), tennis (courts and lessons are expensive), sailing (really expensive barriers to entry), and skiing (everything about the sport is expensive and far away).

Nice! Thanks for the response. I’m a bit leery about having them all slide-y and stuff inside the cabin, so roof rack it was. They get super dirty though, so maybe next time fiancée and I go car shopping to replace the ski-mobile, we’ll see about something longer.
