In a perfectly economical world, Elisabeth Shue’s character would be married to Okumoto’s character. I just need to hear him say “maybe trouble... looking for you,” while one of his teenage daughters is Instagramming absently in the background, and basically undercutting his villainous potency at every turn.

As long as this season ends with Yuji Okumoto returning as Sato’s nephew, along with his two teenage kids, vowing to make life a living hell for Daniel-san in Season 3, all can be forgiven.
