Right? This would end with my 4yo daughter saying she wants to watch another episode of Pokemon, and me needing to yet again say that she can’t do that right now because it is bedtime, launching her into another bout of wailing.

Lately the best strategy against THAT lately is to not say “no” to her request and

At the risk of being overly cynical, does this work because of the technique, or because it ends with the toddler getting exactly what he wanted in the first place?  I say from my own (painful and ongoing) experience that a lot of, if not most, toddler tantrums stem from wanting something and not being able to have it

if they didn’t want you to use all that runway, then they shouldn’t have paved it.

Fingers crossed this is a stealth reboot of Misfits.

Hmmm. Perhaps I’m too laissez faire, and certainly the actual sensors involved may show a more serious outcome for vehicle occupants, but superficially, those crash tests don’t look nearly as bad as plenty of others I’ve seen. Having lived most of my life driving vehicles *without* side airbags, it’s not as if I

Seven syllables? How do you figure?

I’d be willing to bet the Daihatsu version folds like an accordion in a crash though.

Enchanted was pretty good. It needs to come to Disney+ so I can finally watch it again.

OK, I am not a fan of your headline. To me, it implies that David won a million and then decided to give it to charity instead of the reality that David was playing for charity fromt the get go so any money he won was going to charity no matter the amount.

I’m sure they wanted to keep Hermine...she may have been the most consistently good baker throughout the season...but they couldn’t ignore the fact that both of her main bakes were the worst among the four.

Never mind I see the little flat spot now.

I’m just here for everyone’s recommended seasonings/preparations. We’ve just been halving, tossing with salt, pepper and olive oil, and baking them (20-25 minutes at 425) but I’m open to suggestions.

Or if you have an air fryer, prepare the sprouts like you normally would, toss them in a bowl with a spoonful of olive oil, balsamic vinegar and a bit of salt and then put them in the fryer at 375 for about 10 minutes (different fryers, different times and temps). This also keeps your oven and or stovetop available

I’m 100% behind this idea, provided Disney ditches the CGI, and instead uses the costumed Stitch in the header image. Actually, if they could commit entirely to the costumed medium, and have even the human characters played by people in elaborate fursuit style costumes of humans, I think we can all agree that no pandem

That is impressive. You might even say that she’s turned her work ethic up to Eleven.

A bun is connected on one side, so it technically isn’t two pieces of bread. Once definition of a sandwich is meat between two slices of bread. Me, I don’t care.  If a gyro can be a sandwich, then so can hot dogs, tacos, falafel, etc...

This thing is squarely aimed at corporate fleets where they don’t need that much range. The price, range and so on all make sense. I bet they will sell a shit ton of these things.

Is that what Americans would call a broiler?

I hear “Rachel Bloom news” and my mind goes:
