I only recently gave the game another chance after reading a few articles here and there (some on Kotaku, some elsewhere) and I’ve been surprisingly pleased by the results. It doesn’t feel as bad as when I first tried it: back then it felt like I was constantly running to stay out of the storm and was killed by people

Can you sense what the Foundation is baking?!

Yup. Using the “Mother” name just seems like a PR type of thing, to get attention that they might not normally get. Since they’re not directly copying art or character names, they’ll easily be able to change the name and continue on as a “Mother inspired” game after they’ve gotten all the attention they need.

Okay, 6 months isn’t that bad, and non-expiring passes isn’t bad either.

I’m of the opinion that battle passes in general shouldn’t be too hard or take too long to complete. But as it is, so many seem to take the route of “This had better be the only game you play, and you’d better play it every day for a few hours, so that you can finish it before it ends and be able to wear the items you

Well, I’ve had different experiences than that over the various PlayStation consoles I’ve owned, and not just the PS1. “absurdly resilient” is not a phrase I would have ever used to describe PlayStation hardware.

I wonder how many fans who rushed out to buy the remaster didn’t already have the original games to begin with. I would imagine a lot of the interest in these new versions was from people who already owned the originals and so getting them “free” is near worthless.

I had to turn my PS1 nearly upside down for it to work. But it still looked well taken care of, because it was. It was just not built to last.

I still think of the place the Utah Jazz play at as the “Delta Center” even though it hasn’t been that in like 15 years. It’s even had a second name change, from “EnergySolutions Arena” to “Vivint Smart Home Arena”. I’ll probably always still think of it as the “Delta Center” in my head, no matter what.

“I don’t know, Ana.” said Cassidy. “The old days went really bad. There was Morrison, Ramirez, and I and the whole R. Kelly Suite’ fiasco. The past was really bad for Bliz... Overwatch. I gotta wonder if things can change? Maybe they can...”

If you’re playing with people you know, just start out simple. These appear to only be additional options and not mandatory, so I’d still suggest beginners start with the basic setup.

I thought the conversion was roughly 1 bell = 1 yen, based on the price of the various Nintendo Switch consoles you can buy from Nook. The standard Switch costs 29,980 bells from Nook. With the conversion the person in the article quotes, this would mean that they’re trying to sell us a Switch in game for over $700.

I don’t hear it, but I’m glad you’re happy with it.

Changing Samus from a space exploring, power suit wearing tank that could deal a lot of damage and take a lot of damage, into a hyper mobile ninja that is wearing papier-mâché armor is probably one of my biggest issues with the game. It’s not entirely bad, but it does make her feel like a different character.

Fantastic.

You want-a my coins? You can-a have it! I left everything I gathered together in-a one level. Now you-a just have to find it! Wa-hoo!”

I’d argue more like unlimited duplo, due to the size of the blocks, heh.
