People are really taking this too far. It would be “torture” if they hadn’t announced they’re working on an Animal Crossing game already, but since they did, this isn’t much of anything at all, except a fun little promotion during tax season, using a character that is about collecting cash... or bells.

Silly EA. I would have streamed it for only $500,000.

I know a lot of people like no items, 1 vs 1, and battlefield stages, but for me, the very essence of Super Smash Bros are the varied stages, large amounts of players, and tons of items.

Ugh, why do people put fish-eye lens effects on things? That was the worst part about the video, heh.

“Pausing” a multiplayer game. :)

Look, we all know this is a silly little gimmick. But it’s not pretending to be otherwise. I think I may try it out, because it also looks *fun*.

Attacking a voice actor because you don’t like a character is beyond detached from reality.

Some aspects seem a little out of whack. Global warming is crazy. I had an almost 0 emission empire, and amazing science output, but it still flooded the lowermost landmasses before I could even *start* making flood walls, and even then it would take *hundreds* of turns for some of my cities to complete the walls, by

Builders are a lot more powerful now, but also have limited build charges, so you don’t just make a ton that continue to “improve” features on the map. Having it be automated might not be the ideal solution in this version, because of how impactful each improvement charge can be and where you want to place it may not

Yup. It taught me that by the time you can do anything about it, it’s too late. Might as well get ready for sea-homes.

Huh. I actually thought Life In Aggro today was a pretty simple sight gag, where you didn’t need to know who the characters are at all. At least the layout wasn’t all over the place.

Ah, that’s a good point. Lets cross our fingers and hope for the best, though! :)

Yup. vertical levels look like they’re in, too! I definitely hope they are and that it wasn’t just a trick of the custom scrolling making it *look* like a vertical level.

Oh, you can select who gets your garbage? That might explain why I went from 1/3 full screen to dead almost instantly, lol.

Yup, I caught them on the 3D World stage where Cat Mario is dodging the bullet bill type enemies coming towards the screen. :)

I’m definitely going to use them in my first stage, as I already know what I’m going to make.

Some new things you *might* have missed (Some only if you just weren’t watching)

I know! For those times when I settle early game on what I *think* is an ocean, only to find it’s just an large inland sea.

I also beat the NES TNMT game, but I haven’t played it in years. I want to, but I also am afraid of how badly I’ll do, being decades out of practice, heh.

I really like this game, though I don’t think the addition of the double jump was worth the loss of the ability to fire up and down from Ghouls ‘n’ Ghosts.
