Sounds to me like you have a concrete idea of how much each job should pay, how much it “merits”. Is that like a central plan or something? Maybe one that phases in over a number of years? (5 or so?)

Minimum wage is not fair. When rent is $1000 a month and you make $7.25 an hour it is time for people to make more per hour. I had this conversation with my parents and when I showed them my financials they were dumbstruck with how much shit costs. To put it in perspective they have owned their home for 15 years and…
Nice to know you have complete knowledge of all the tasks these employees do and the quality of their work. That’s impressive.
Just as the airport restaurant can raise their prices, and refuse to sell you a hamburger for the old, lower price, so too can workers refuse to work until they receive a higher price for their work. That’s what a strike is.
That’s why I’m not wasting my time teaching you the basic principles of organized labor.
oh yeah, the guy making $6 an hour to load an airplane in -40 weather is just the greediest jerk alive.
You’re a curmudgeon. You’re also dumb.
If your employees are able to stop work and hold you hostage you should probably pay them more. If it doesn’t significantly impact your business you have more leverage to negotiate, if your business is significanly impacted then their skills are worth more than you are paying them. Labor markets aren’t always open…
And just like that, fps suddenly matters in the heads of console gamers
I guess this is an ELI5, but I thought the One X was supposed to be the most powerful gaming console ever created. Forcing players to choose between 60 FPS and 4K in a 2 1/2 year-old game seems underwhelming.
Horrible horrible logic. With that logic you might as well say, “America is very likely to ban the dollar if there is evidence it’s being used in drug trade”.
You do realize that if the US bans it when other countries/international companies use it, it will only hurt the US economy more and tank the dollar to a lesser value than a peso.
When China banned Bitcoin, there was a slight draw back, but since then it has doubled and Japan has officially accepted it as a legal currency.
The US Dollar is being used for the same illegal purposes, and the treasury department hasn’t changed how the dollar works in response. Cryptocurrency is not governed by any government, so it cannot be regulated, as private businesses have the right to accept any form of currency. Thus, it cannot be banned either.
You do realize people cash in on their bitcoin and get whatever currency they use in their country in return right? Is that fake money?
Weird how companies like Newegg and Microsoft accept this alleged “fake money” (Google it) - if it were fake as you claim it is, I don’t think those 2 companies alone would bother…
“Real snoozer today,” you type, yawning and searching for the race’s hashtag. As you prepare to tweet it, you begin…
I wonder if some of those drivers were stoned.
Only issue with your comment is at the end where you talk about PC. The sales metrics from people in the know for Play-Anywhere is people are not buying MS’s games on PC. Especially from their shitty storefront.
And has nothing on it as of yet. I have yet another console to collect dust until they release something worth playing on it that my PC already doesn’t do better.
Needlessly? Do you like sitting stopped at green lights for no reason? Not to mention, it’s potentially a safety issue sitting stopped in traffic at a green light - someone sees that light ahead and does not notice cars stopped there unexpectedly. This is Cop Power Trip 101 type stuff.
