If I was American, I’d be calling to report that ICE was asking for my documents outside a courthouse.

You must be fun parties.
Yup. Fat stacks! And maybe an off-road permit if your state requires it.
Wow that’s CRZ!
In most of the US states, nothing - if you’re on private property. If you’re off road, you may need an “off road sticker” for the vehicle, and you may need to be a certain age.
I believe cash is all you need my friend.
Unstable? We have Donald Trump as President and already have nuked one country and invaded countless others without UN approval.
No country with nuclear capabilities is good for the world, stable, or unstable. I’m with Ken, if the US, Russia, and other “stable” nations won’t get rid of their nuclear arms, then we’re in a tough spot trying to convince other “unstable” nations to do so.
To suggest that any nation “needs” or “should have” nuclear…
Because they are unstable and unstable countries with nuclear capabilities are not good for the world.
I’m not sure where you live, but more than 50% of the population don’t have $1K in their savings accounts. For those people, $90 is a lot to pay for a shirt.
Globa free trade is a pyramid scheme designed to concentrate all wealth in the hands of the rich. Just like every other econo/political structure that has ever existed.
I’ve always been of the belief that a company/corporation/etc that relies on keeping wages low to break even is not a business that is interested in longevity. Labor has supply/demand as well.
I was being facetious about the “dirty little secret” thing because the original poster clearly had a simplistic view of economics and I doubted whether he even knew the Fed had a target inflation rate.
Right. And actually, regular basic employee wage inflation is the only type that the government is concerned about, or has been concerned about for the past 30 years. Because that is the type that effects corporations profits and pricing power. Do they care if the price of a home in CA doubles or if people have to…
That’s a very simple view of a complex issue. But I’ll let you in on a dirty little secret: inflation is something the U.S. government wants, and they act to make sure that it exists regardless of wage levels. When wages increases don’t keep up with inflation (which is the case here in the U.S.), an economy dependent…
Corporations keeping wages low is one of the reasons why consumers demand lower prices. At some point the expansion of credit is not going to be enough to compensate for the loss of purchasing power and companies are going to learn the hard way that maximizing profits by keeping wages low is not a good long term…
Once upon at time Jones might have been another Bircher-style lunatic, but he has been embraced and endorsed by the Republican President of the United States, among other GOP office holders. Typical or not, The Lunatic Fringe of right wing conspiracy theories has become an influential part of the Republican apparatus.…
And the reason I care about your comment would be? Or are you one of the clever “alt-right” *spit* who thinks hijacking the conversation with some off topic folderol is the path of righteousness?
Well, shut my door mouth!
