well, to be fair, they did write the adaptation. also i love that film.

well, given her response to their kiss in the car outside of the enchantment under the sea dance, she probably would've balked at the chance. unless you are implying Marty should have raped his mother, which probably deserves more than a record scratch (shoutout to my main man @ganondorf)

it is a fantastic film. i think a lot of the dislike comes from how amazing the book is. the wachowski's should get an oscar for just attempting to film that. i mean, david mitchell has his own detractors who decry the structure as gimmicky and the shifts in tone as jarring. the movie captures that extremely well.
