Bingo, had the BRZ NEVER gotten a face-lift of any kind but they introduced the WRX turbo engine last year, they’d be selling 3x as many as when they first hit the market.

And moreover, they are sick of overpaying for them. Few level-headed buyers will skip a WRX given all it’s performance perks over the BRZ and practicality improvements when they sit at the same damn price point.
Ahh yes, WRX replacement syndrome is real. What gives WRX levels of fun with enough room for the kids without breaking the bank? Nothing still under warranty. Your Challenger AWD is a major downgrade in terms of performance given it’s heft and V6 only option.
Exception: Kia Stinger GT AWD...lightly used. It’s got the…
Talk about a dying brand. Chrysler now sells “4" models, 3 of them are just different trim levels of the same Minivan (Pacifica, Pacifica Hybrid and Voyager). So really, they sell 2 cars. Just kill it off and lump it under Dodge.
This is cool with me, wish more car manufacturers would stick with a good design and iterate. I’m sure Chevy wishes they still sold the 5th generation Camaro. Their 6th generation model’s peak sales when it was brand new were less than what the Challenger is selling after nearly 11 years of sales.
A modern School Bus?
Revised List:
I’m F1's target market, love cars and tech and enjoy seeing the pinnacle of tech in action. Yet, I stopped being entertained by F1 years ago. It’s not the money, it’s just so dang boring. I’d rather the series go closed wheeled with rules encouraging mechanical grip and clean air than watching the parade with no…
How about some sort of system that takes heat generated by the engine and pumps it into the cabin via some ducts under the dashboard? The system could be controlled by a few knobs placed in the center console area and perhaps for convenience a method of mixing the air with cooler external or air conditioned air would…
I do forsee a future where kit cars are nicer, easier builds like building an RC car and car guys spend their time playing with brushed motor combinations, swapping out gear boxes and tweaking software parameters to balance out the performance of their cars.
All the more reason to buy a Stinger I say. Upgrade springs and anti-roll bars, upgrade engine management (or not even) and enjoy 95% of the performance at basically half the cost. That car is so seriously underrated and Kia with a few tweaks in a refresh (namely springs and turning up boost) could make apples to…
Well, FWIW if STI owners were better at accounting for the costs they rack up modifying their cars many of them may discover they’ve spent more than what the S209 costs buying and then upgrading their base STI.
The difference is those guys usually make way more power and even have paid for a couple engine rebuilds…
If they offered this, I’d already own one. I came really close to getting the Stinger as-is but made the mistake (had the foresight) to bring the wife and kids to the dealership and realized it wouldn’t cut the mustard. I need a wagon if I go down to driving one car. Otherwise I gotta keep my old outback as a dad…
I wonder if the owner would have to pump hot oil and coolant through the car to get it up to temp before starting it like a real F1 car? Those things are sized up when cold and gotta be brought to life slowly before cranking because of the absurdly close tolerances and special mix of alloys for each part with…
I dunno, nothing says douche like an F-150 double parked at a Walmart with a Trump sticker on it.
Yeah I think it’s ugly but it’s silly to question why you’d make a truck exterior strong...I mean so may truck driving folks barely use their trucks because they don’t want to dent them, kinda defeats the purpose. And why would it need to be bulletproof? Well...as far as I can recall the #1 selling truck…
Umm, clearly WRC has the most to offer. You’ve got the Group B era which could be more of a ensemble piece and then folks like Colin McRae and Richard Burns - both extremely successful drivers who raced with and against eachother and both died outside of the sport rather tragically with quite a winning legacy left…
