That's why Tracy and Alec are co-second leads (I missed typed it in my first response) Obviously Tina is the star and the bulk of the episodes revolve around Liz, but Tracy and Alec are integral to the show in ways that even Jane Krakowski is not.

I dunno…Alec's character is really the second co-lead along with Tracy Morgan. I think in his getting the last billing is more to due with him being a "real actor" as oppose to a reflection of his importance on the show.
