After an uneventful trip turning mileage in the mid-40s, I'd felt like I'd made a wise choice as I pulled into my new building in Brooklyn. The quiet ride kept my drugged out cat from freaking out and the 600+ mile range meant I could go to Target and still have energy enough in the tank to get me out of New Jersey

I went to the crash site early last Sunday for the memorial meet, before thousands of people showed up.

Hi

I actually worked in this business for a few years, so let me help you out with your question. The problem with scrappers and street lighting is very simple: you have long streches of road to light and in order to get voltage down the line, you need to put heavy gauge wire in (#6 or bigger). Because the wire is so

You're the person on the interstate whom I hate! Varying speed all the time, never knowing how fast you want to go.

Thanks for reminding me of the Scamp & Turismo. (Scamp was the truck.) In general I prefer the Plymouth versions of everything Mopar because they are more underdog/proletarian. I suppose that makes me snobbish and elitist, though.

Nissan Versa. Unfortunately the most affordable new car also means the most boring new car.

Now, the guys at Tesla seem pretty smart about this whole battery thing. So I'm willing to bet that the battery pack is divided into sections to limit the spread of heat in a thermal runaway situation. In addition, we have heard many times about how Tesla makes sure to cool their cells very well.

It is TOO a Fuhrahreee;)

Would of thought the Maserati Ghibli II or Quattroporte IV, half decent cars developed out of the woeful Biturbo could be included?

1990's Suzuki Swift / GTI.

The new 2.5 (in the Outback and Forester) is good on gas, especially with the CVT. We have a 13' Outback and we got over 31mpg going up to B.C. and back from Washington....with a 16 cu/ft Yakima bin on top. It usually gets 34+ on that trip but the bin hits the MPG pretty hard. Granted....all of this is based off their

One word

Remember when Elan washed up on the beaches of Miami and Castro wanted it back in Cuba but Elan didn't want to go back?

Toyota is one of the biggest double-edged swords of the car industry. I don't know what stance to take up with them. They make boring cars, then they make an FR-S, then they brand it a Scion, BUT THEN they state that they want a new Supra and a new car to be a step down from the FR-S. They win Le Mans, but what could

I don't understand...the turn signals have already been claimed. Why would someone ever buy turn signals for a BMW when they are never, ever used?

Did he not read the owner's manual? It clearly states that only BMW brand logs are to be used when log-stacking your BMW. I just called my local BMW dealer and picked up a set of BMW Lifetime Standing Logs for $49 each (plus a $64 trunk-loading fee).

I always thought they were powered by the rider's sense of self-importance.
